Free Printable Calendar: How to Pray for Your Children

Many years before I had my children there was one thing I prayed — that they would know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him.  Now that they have been with me for a few years there are other things I pray for them. I pray that they will find a Godly spouse, that they will be a good wife/husband, a good father/mother, that they will always follow God, etc.

Today while I was searching around on Pinterest I found this free calendar.  Each day has a topic, prayer, and verse so that you can pray something specific for your children.  Of course we will always mutter prayers like, “Please let them sleep in on Saturday.”  lol  This calendar provides and easy way to pray intentionally for our children.

Help Smithfield Help the Hungry

Tune into The Sound of Music This Sunday

I normally don’t write about movies and tv shows, but this one is special so I thought I’d announce it.

Sunday December 26th, 7:00 p.m et. (check local listings)  – THE SOUND OF MUSIC airs in HDTV as the “ABC Sunday Movie of the week”

Monday December 27th, check local listings – THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW re-broadcasts THE SOUND OF MUSIC reunion episode.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is also celebrating the 45th anniversary of the five-time Academy Award-winning The Sound Of Music by releasing a restored and remastered version in Blu-Ray and High Defnition.  You can purchase the movie on Blu-Ray or dvd. 

I plan to use my DVR to record the movie for our Friday night family movie night.
