I haven’t shopped at CVS in a while.  It’s mostly because I haven’t had much extra time and also because I haven’t really needed anything.  I finished up at school yesterday so now I’ll have more time for blogging and finding deals.  I’ve missed you all. 

Here are the deals I got at CVS today.

-Used CVS coupon for $3 off $10 first aid products.

The regular price of these items was $38.62.
Total purchase: $6.62 minus $5.99 ECB = $.63

On Wednesday, June 15 you can a 12 pack of Pepsi at CVS for only $.99!  To get your coupon simply scan your extracare card at the CVS coupon center.  Limit one 12 pack per coupon.  This offer is available on 6/15/11 only.

I headed to CVS tonight after dinner. There were some things from the sales flyer that I wanted to purchase.  Unfortunately, CVS was out of a few things that I wanted to get but I will check back later in the week.  I’m pleased with today’s deals.   

Transaction 1:

-use $2 coupon from 3/6 SS which makes this a $2 money maker

The regular price of all of these items is $14.57. I spent $5.22 out of pocket but received back $6.99 in ECBs which makes today’s purchase FREE plus an overage of $1.77.

I stopped in to CVS tonight mainly to pick up the free Crest toothpaste. While I was there I walked around the store a little to see if there were any more deals.  Here’s what I found:

I was disappointed that I could not find a coupon for the Depends. After leaving the store I discovered that there was a $2 coupon in the 12/20/11 SmartSource coupon packet which would make them free.

Total = $1.04

My total for both transactions was $3.33 for a savings of 83%.   The great thing about shopping with coupons and saving so much money is that I am able to help others and pass on the savings.

During my trip to CVS earlier this week I was able to use some CVS Extra Care Bucks before they expired. I also got back $8 in ECBs which I used today for some other deals. 

In today’s transaction, I spent 39 cents (pre-tax), saved over $36, and got back another $5 in ECBs.  It was a great shopping trip.

When I was getting my coupons ready for another CVS today, I received a coupon in my inbox for $4 off a $20 purchase. I was super excited about that.

I got all of the items listed above (except the candy bars) and when I got to the register I thought I had a subtotal of over $20 (I think the tea sale tag was wrong on the shelf). Since I didn’t have $20 total, I had to grab something quick that wasn’t too expensive so I grabbed the candy bars. That was totally unexpected and something I didn’t need to purchase. Had I known in advance I would have purchased something more beneficial.

Today I had $14.49 in coupons and I used $8 ECBs from my trip earlier this week. My pretax total was $.39 and I received $5 in ECBs to use later.
