Today’s CVS Deals 8/19/10

I went into CVS today with plenty of coupons in hand.  Here’s what I managed to find for less than $10.  😀

Transaction 1:

4 boxes Kellogg’s cereals
sale 3/$10 and receive $5 ECBs when you buy 3 (limit 1 $5 ECB)
used two $1/2 coupons
*You can use $1/2 coupons from the 8/1 or 8/15 Redplum inserts or print some from the Kellogg’s website.  Be sure to click on the “Promotions & Coupons” tab. You can also print some from the Redplum website.

Purex 3 in 1, reg $.799
sale $5.99 and receive $2 ECBs (limit 1 $2 ECB)
used one $3 coupon from the 8/15 Redplum insert

On this transaction I also used a CVS coupon for $5 off a $15 purchase.

Total = $9.33 plus received $7 in ECBs

Transaction 2:

Vita Grass indoor plants for animals, reg $9.99, clearance $1.25
(I need this for my cat!)

2 Emerald almonds, reg $5.99 each
buy 1 get 1 free
used $1.50/2 coupon from 8/15 Redplum insert

2 Oral-B Pulsar toothbrushes, reg $5.99 each

used a buy 1 get 1 free coupon

I also had a $5 off $15 CVS coupon.

used $1 coupon

2 Crest Pro Health products reg $5.39 each, sale $3.49
receive $2.50 ECBs (limit 2)
used 1 $.75 coupon for the toothpaste, 8/1 P&G
used 1 $2 coupon for the mouth wash
(Sorry, as far as I know, the $2 coupon is not available in the P&G insert. I got mine from BlogHer but it’s worth looking.)
You can also use a $1 coupon from the 8/1 P&G insert.

4 Sobe drinks reg $1.59 each
on sale buy 1 get 1 free
used 2 coupons for buy 1 get 1 free

I also used the $7 in ECBs that I had received from transaction 1.

Total = $.66 plus I received $5 in ECBs from the Crest

Today I got $81.53 in merchandise and spent $14.89 but brought home $5 in ECBs for my next transaction which makes my out of pocket expense today $9.89!!! Woohoo!

Be sure to scan you CVS card at the coupon printer in the store. Also, register your CVS card on their website and they will email coupons to you. This is how I got my two coupons for $5 off a $15 purchase. For more help, visit the CVS Reader Question & Answer guide.

And who says that coupons don’t help? 😉
