Romi Lassally on The Rachael Ray Show Tomorrow

Every now and then one of my blogging friends comes into the spotlight and it makes me smile. It brings hope for future possibilities and also helps me to remember that what I’m doing here is meaningful.  I’m happy to announce that tomorrow, one of my blogging friends will be on The Rachael Ray Show.  I met Romi while at a Pampers Mommy Blogging Event in 2008.  🙂

Listen up ladies! Having a bad day? Kids stressing you out? Overwhelmed with work? Not enough hours to accomplish your to-do list? Questioning your parenting skills? Then you’ll want to tune in to Rachael Ray on Tuesday, April 20 to see Romi Lassally, the mastermom behind TruuConfessions.com and author of “True Mom Confessions: Real Moms Get Real”.

Romi chats with Rachael about what women are really thinking about hot button topics like moms and spanking (and other discipline issues), the economy, kids on Facebook, etc. If you’ve ever had a bad day as a mom or wife, in the dating scene or at work, you won’t want to miss this.

Thanks to TruuConfessions.com you can share your bad day, crazy kid stories, lapses in judgment and anything else you need to get off your shoulders, and you can do so anonymously. No one judges here. Everyone is a mom and can undoubtedly relate. Consider them your new BFF’s!

After confessing to a girlfriend about a 3 a.m. vomiting incident her six-year-old son had that she left on the carpet all night, she felt some much needed relief. Confessing felt good and it opened up an exchange with her friend who told her own mommy tales. This prompted Romi to start what is now known as TruuConfessions.com.

Since May 2007, TruuConfessions.com has received over one million “confessions” from women everywhere. That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as a CBS News/New York Times poll indicated that 73% of Americans (including mothers) think being a mom is harder today than when they were young.

Let’s face it, being a mom is hard. Nobody’s perfect. Somewhere, somebody else has probably done the same things or worse. So go ahead and confess. It’ll feel good. You know you want to.
